Take two for this awesome show! July's show was rained out but we look good for this weekend! The show starts at 5pm on Saturday, October 7th on the lawn at Petworth Park (8th & Taylor Streets NW), with Baba Ras D kicking things off at 5pm and JaneliaSoul playing at 6pm.

The fourth Celebrate Petworth Festival kicks off on Saturday, September 9th at 11am on the 800 block of Upshur Street with a full day of activities, vendors and plenty to enjoy. Come out to grab food, do a little shopping, enjoy some great music and art and hang with your neighbors!

I participated in the first Academy back in October 2016 and found it to be a fascinating experience and look into one of the oldest police departments in the United States -- one that started with only two officers!
