DPR offers more local kids' movie nights

The Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) is sponsoring more movies nights in the area this month and in September, one in Northeast DC and two in the Petworth area (the Petworth Rec Center at 8th and Taylor Streets, and Upshur Park at Arkansas and 14th Streets),

The films are shown from 8:30pm to 11pm outdoors on the field. Bring a blanket, some popcorn and snacks and enjoy an outdoor movie!

Movie Night is viewers’ choice for the movie to be shown. The audience will help select the movie (there's no voting ahead of time).

Titles are “Smurfs the Lost Village,” “Lego Batman Movie,” “The Secret Life of Pets” or “Sing.”
