This was a new one. Both my wife and I received separate phone calls around the same time from a man claiming to be a “Washington DC police officer” and telling us that we have a warrant for our arrest for a missed court date.

Pleasant, have been converted to miniature art installations. (There’s one on 16th Street that has tennis balls stuffed inside.)

MPD's Chief of Police Peter Newsham sent out an email this afternoon informing residents that Fourth District Commander Wilfredo Manlapaz has been promoted to Assistant Chief. Manlapaz will take on the role of running MPD's Internal Affairs Bureau.
