As part of their ongoing efforts to study ways to increase pedestrian and driver safety, the DC Department of Transportation (DDOT) will be conducting a test at Sherman Circle and will close off one lane for the duration of the test.

But not everyone is happy about the changes. Some neighborhood residents say that while they are in favor of upgrading, they were not properly consulted about the form and function that the upgrades should take.
