Hello Petworth neighbors! This week marks the fourth and final week of Ramadan, a very special time for more than a billion Muslims around the world, including many of our neighbors. Along with being a time when many Muslims fast from dawn to dusk, Ramadan is a time for reflection, a re-dedication to bettering ourselves, spending time with family and friends, and … sharing food! A couple of my fellow Petworth friends and I are inviting you all to come out to a potluck iftar, the meal to break the fast each day, Thursday evening, June 22nd 7:30-9:30pm at Sherman Circle around sundown.
