DDOT meeting Tuesday to discuss Rock Creek Church traffic

There is a community meeting with the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) Tuesday evening, May 9th, from 6:30pm – 8:30pm at 801 Shepherd Street NW. DDOT will present a variety of proposed measures for traffic calming on Rock Creek Church Road.
Residents are invited to learn about the proposals and provide feedback. All are invited to attend. This is a repeat of a meeting held a few weeks ago, since a number of residents expressed concern that they were unable to attend that meeting on a weekday morning.
Summer isn’t over yet! The Parks at Walter Reed has a full lineup of family-friendly neighborhood events coming up from August and into November, including free concerts, outdoor fitness classes, dancing, flea markets, community festivals and a massive used book sale.
