Upshur Art & Craft Fair returns for its 14th year with handmade art, crafts and a gingerbread house contest

The 14th Annual Upshur Street Craft Fair on the 800 block of Upshur Street draws artists and makers from all over the DMV and features an abundance of festivities, including a Gingerbread House Contest, a Pop-Up Holiday Lounge with delicious wintery treats, amazing activities by the Upshur Street businesses, and more. This year the annual holiday market will feature 50+ local crafters, artists, and food vendors.

It kicks off on December 14th at 11am. You can sign up to make a gingerbread house by December 7th.

The Upshur Street Craft Fair began 14 years ago as an indoor craft market inside Domku, then the only sit-down restaurant in the area. Today, the craft fair is led by Julie Wineinger, local DC resident and small business owner of Willow & Lulabelle's on the 800 Block of Upshur.

This year’s craft fair is presented by Willow and sponsors include Yes! Organic Market, Eddie Suarez (Realtor at COMPASS), Marc Dosik (Century 21 Redwood Realty—Federal City Team), Lulabelle’s, Mic’s Moving Company, Call Your Mother Deli and Wawa.
