It’s all about the neighborhood
For the past four years, Friends of the Old Soldiers' Home, a volunteer group that sponsors activities at the Armed Forces Retirement Home (Upshur & Rock Creek Church Rd), has put on the Spring Fling, an outdoor festival complete with great food, beer and drinks, music, a nature walk, games and more.

Read MoreThe Advisory Neighborhood Commission 4C met on Wednesday, April 13th. A very full agenda, the meeting included a brief presentation by DC Attorney General Karl Racine. I think the stress of having a very full agenda caused the commission to speed through the agenda items, and the meeting actually ended a bit early. A win for your neighborhood note-taker, but it was a rushed meeting.
