With dancers from Kalanidhi Dance, Nancy Havlik Dance Performance Group, Countess Winfrey and Company Danzante (who danced while the jazz band Véronneau played), there was an over-abundance to listen to and watch.

The Petworth Jazz Project offers music for kids and adults, yoga, professional dance and food, and one of the best opportunities to hang out with your neighbors. Of course I'll be there with my camera, like some neighborhood wedding photographer prowling the crowd.

Over the years there have been at least three warrants served at the property, with arrests made and drugs confiscated. On Thursday morning, May 19th, US Marshals made good on their Writ of Eviction served a few months ago, and put out the squatters and residents who were living at the Gallatin rowhouse.
