It’s really not a problem to see fireworks in Petworth. Once 9pm rolls around, the neighborhood skies are filled with all sorts of legal and illegal flying explosives to delight the eye and terrify the dog. (Be sure to keep your dogs safe!)

Every year the Friends of the Soldiers Home and the Armed Forces Retirement Home team up with sponsors to put on a family-friendly event with food, beer, music, games and more. It’s a great place to spend the holiday appreciating your neighbors, and your freedom.
