It’s been a long year waiting for the return of the extremely popular Petworth Jazz Project, but the wait is over! The free jazz show at Petworth Recreation Center (8th & Taylor Streets NW) kicks off its 9th year with the season opener on Saturday, May 25th with kids’ music at 6pm with Baba Ras D and then the extremely talented Joe Herrera comes on at 7pm to make your night smooth with his trumpet and crew.

Timber Pizza will be on site with their mobile wood-fired oven, selling fresh, hot pizza.

FREE as always on the lawn at 8th and Taylor St NW (Petworth Rec Center).

DPR rules say that pets are not allowed, and be sure to bring a blanket, chairs, food and drink and have a great time!
