For their July “First Friday” event on July 5th, Petworth Arts Collaborative is putting on another creative evening, this time with an exhibit titled “Are you Free in America?”

The exhibit is centered around our ideas of freedom. Through a series of three interactions, they’re inviting the community to create a collective response, join in the discussion with neighbors and friends and reflect as you listen to a curated soundscape by DC Artist Maps Glover and Washingtonian Jason Biehl.

The event is Friday, July 5th from 6pm-9pm at Art of Noize (821 Upshur Street, entrance through the alleyway between Willow and Petworth Citizen).

The event is free, but they ask for RSVPs on EventBrite.
