According to news reports, the body of Ariel Espinal has been identified in Allegany County in Maryland. Ariel was the manager at Annie's Hardware in Petworth and went missing in October 2016. He and his girlfriend were expecting their first child and were buying a house at the time he disappeared.

His body was found by campers in Little Orleans, Maryland in April 2017, who saw the body off the side of a road in an embankment. Identification took time as examiners needed to use medical records to identify the body.

It's a sad end to a sad story.
