Slim’s reopens for dinner with a new menu and a special offer for kids

Slim’s Diner gets new hours and a new dinner menu.

Slim’s Diner officially reopens for dinner service this week, offering a new dinner menu with different items than their regular breakfast and lunch menu (still includes some of your favorites). Plus, a special offer for kids. Dinner service will be available Tuesdays through Saturday, 5-10pm.

Slim’s new menu includes breakfast staples like eggs, pancakes and bacon, new burger options like Black & Blue, veggie and Buffalo Chicken. The new “Meat & Three” options offer meatloaf, jambalaya, shrimp and grits and eggplants (no meat there). Each item includes three sides, from the very diner-esque cole slaw to spinach, bean ragu, mashed potatoes and more. The new items are the creation of Slim’s new chef Marcus Dijon. For kids under 12, dinner is free from 5-7pm every night. Options include grilled cheese, mac & cheese, hot dogs or chicken tenders, and comes with a fruit cup and apple juice or milk.

And yes, they’re still serving alcohol at their full bar, including beer, wine and “boozy milkshakes.”
