Saturday is the last day for Petworth area farmers' markets
/We’re so lucky to have farmers’ markets in our area — two of them! Well, they both end their seasons on Saturday, November 17th.
Both the Petworth Community Market (9th & Upshur St NW) and the 14th & Kennedy Street Farmers’ Market (Colorado Ave, between Kennedy and Jefferson Streets) are open from 9am - 1pm.
Whether you’re looking for fresh bread, vegetables, pickles, coffee, pottery, rotis or more, come out to enjoy the best of the markets on their last day of the season.
They’ll both be back May 2019!
Summer isn’t over yet! The Parks at Walter Reed has a full lineup of family-friendly neighborhood events coming up from August and into November, including free concerts, outdoor fitness classes, dancing, flea markets, community festivals and a massive used book sale.
