With a minor rain delay starting things off a bit slowly, the Petworth Jazz Project was a great show of youth talent and the extremely smooth sounds of the Mark Meadow Quartet.

Thanks to our local Safeway for sponsoring the night's music and bringing a bunch of great food and drinks to give out to the audience.

The Parks at Walter Reed has announced a packed calendar of events stretching from spring through late fall ensuring the Great Lawn and plaza remain the beating heart of Uptown. The calendar mixes free fitness classes, live music, cultural programming and fan-favorite markets. All events are free (or low-cost for fitness), all-ages and welcoming to all.
