Wasn’t it just May and the summer season for Petworth Jazz Project was just getting started? The summer months are almost over, and that means the last show of the season is coming up.

On Saturday, August 31st, come out to the Petworth Recreation Center (801 Taylor St NW) to see the Empresarios.

They’re a DC-based collective of musicians and DJs who have finely tuned their Tropicaliente sound over the past few years and have shared this unique blend of tropical beats across the globe. Now they’re bringing it to Petworth!

Show starts at 6pm with Baba Ras D performing for kids.

Halal Grill will be on-hand offering dinner for sale from their food truck.

Bring a blanket, some friends and maybe a bathing suit for the little ones to play in the spray park — it’s the last show of the season! See you on the lawn!
