Check out the Farmers Market at The Parks on Sunday

The FRESHFARM Market at The Parks continues this Sunday from 10 am to 2 pm. The market features a dozen producers this week, including a bakery, two farms, meat producers, dog treats, empanadas, coffee, an orchard, and more! Don’t miss Honey Hemp Farm’s CBD-infused teas, the delicious meats offered at Holly Brook Farm, and mushrooms by new vendor Sweet Pea Farm

Full vendor list this week: Honey Hemp Farm, Capitol Cider House, Caputo Brothers Creamery, DMV Empanadas, Fresh off the Roast (Qualia Coffee), Holly Brook Farm, Motherland Kitchen, Panorama Artisan Baker, Pearl Fine Teas, Pleitez Produce Farm, Sharrah Orchards, and Sweet Pea Farm. 

The market accepts and matches WIC, SNAP and SFMNP benefits.

 Farmers’ Market Dates: Sundays through October 17
10 am to 2 pm (one hour longer this year!) 

The market is at 6922 Georgia Avenue NW, right inside the Georgia Avenue gate in front of the Flower Building. A new pedestrian/bike entrance is opened right by the Flower Building, or you can drive/bike in at Butternut Street NW to find parking. The market is situated next to the new playground. Come, shop, play, and bring your own bags. Feel free to picnic in the grassy areas nearby. 

 Need a mid-week produce fix? Stop by The Parks Produce Stand, same location on Tuesdays, 11 am to 2 pm through November.
