MPD arrests burglary suspect, Georgia Ave homeowners can breath a bit easier

Multiple home burglaries that occurred recently along the 3800 block of Georgia Avenue and one on Quincy have been closed with the arrest on Wednesday of a suspect. According to MPD, they arrested 33 year old Tremaine McDowell of Northwest DC. He was charged with three counts of Burglary One and one count of Burglary Two. Good work MPD!

(Washington, DC)-Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fourth District have announced an arrest has been made in multiple Burglary offenses that occurred at the following locations:

  •  Burglary One that occurred in the 3800 block of Georgia Avenue, Northwest between Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at 6:00 pm and Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at 7:00am,

    An unknown suspect entered the victim’s apartment and took assorted credit cards.
  • Burglary Two that occurred in the 3800 block of Georgia Avenue, Northwest on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 between 2:30 am and 12:00 pm.

    An unknown suspect entered the victim’s apartment and took assorted electronics.
  • Burglary One that occurred in the 3800 block of Georgia Avenue, Northwest between Thursday, March 3, 2016 at 2:00 pm and Friday, March 4, 2016 at 10:00 am.

    An unknown suspect entered the victim’s apartment and took a laptop.
  • Burglary One that occurred in the 800 block of Quincy Street, Northwest on Sunday, March 13, 2016 between 3:30 am and 8:00 am.

    An unknown suspect entered the victim’s apartment and took various personal items and cash.
