Kennedy Street comes together to organize a kids' movie night (food, costumes & more)

Join Uptown Main Street on Friday, June 24th for a kids’ movie night! Zootopia will be shown at 8:30pm at the J&J’s parking lot at 716 Kennedy Street NW.
The event begins at 6pm with music, food and games. Popcorn and ice cream have been donated by local ice cream shop Everyday Sundae. Neighborhood businesses are offering dinner specials, including Soup Up, who will be grilling hot dogs and corn outside.
A free dance class to the beat of Zootopia will begin at 7pm from Dance Loft on 14.
Zootopia will be screened at 8:30pm, so come dressed as your favorite animal and character!
Bring your own lawn chairs or blankets to get comfy.
Join President Lincoln’s Cottage on September 19, from 10am to 2pm, for their free annual Homecoming celebration inspired by the Lincoln family’s time living on the grounds of the Soldiers’ Home, here in the Petworth neighborhood.
