From the local listserv:

Friends of Grant Circle is hosting a volunteer day on Sunday November 6th at 10am. We'll pick up some trash, trim a few bushes, and put some fresh paint on the benches if the weather allows.

We're going to make this a fairly regular volunteer event the first Sunday of every month so we can bring neighbors together to help spruce up the park so we can all enjoy it a bit more.

On Sunday Nov. 6, we'll meet at the circle around 10 am to volunteer. We plan to work until noon. We've got a few extra gloves and tools, so feel free to just show up and help as much as you can.
