It was a really great first Petworth Bandstand show on Sunday at Petworth Citizen. My thanks to everyone who came out, ate a great meal and donated to the Georgia Avenue Family Support Collaborative!

It may have been a rainy day, but Petworth Citizen was packed and we generated a few hundred dollars for the Collaborative (thanks to cash donations and the generosity of Paul Ruppert, who owns Petworth Citizen and donated 10% of food & drink).

The next show is Sunday, March 11th from 1-4pm at the Citizen. We have three great, local bands set to perform:

The Parks at Walter Reed brings a full season of fitness, music, markets and community events

The Parks at Walter Reed has announced a packed calendar of events stretching from spring through late fall ensuring the Great Lawn and plaza remain the beating heart of Uptown. The calendar mixes free fitness classes, live music, cultural programming and fan-favorite markets. All events are free (or low-cost for fitness), all-ages and welcoming to all.
