*Commissioner Jonah Goodman (SMD 4C10) discusses his proposed changes to the grant application process.*

During the April meeting of Advisory Neighborhood Commission 4C, Commissioner Jonah Goodman proposed amending the ANC’s grant guidelines to make them more user-friendly, internally consistent and up to date.

Commissioner Zach Teutsch suggested that the ANC consider raising the grant amount as part of his proposal. Last year the ANC voted to decrease the amount of any one grant from $1,000 down to $500. Now the ANC is proposing to increase the grant limit to $1,000 once more.

The grant revision proposal was tabled until their May meeting to allow for community comment. (See the revised proposal as a Google Doc.)
