The DC Department of Transportation is conducting a site visit at the intersection of 13th Street, Kansas Avenue and Spring Road. They’re proposing some changes to traffic patterns, turning lanes and signage at this wonky intersection.

This legislation, temporarily enacted in emergency form last month, would fully exempt parent-led play co-ops from the regulatory requirements imposed on formal child care facilities. I voiced my full and enthusiastic support for the legislation. We cannot allow this critical service for families to be regulated out of existence.

In December 2017, the buildings that comprise 4231 through 4239 9th Street were purchased by Cathedral Property Partners, a DC developer that is bullish on Petworth and interested in bringing retail and restaurants, rather than residential properties.
