There's whiskey, and then there's Irish Whiskey, and one man who knows the difference is Andrew Pope. Andrew hosts a monthly whiskey tasting class at Reliable Tavern (3655 Georgia Ave NW), and this month, his fourth class at the tavern, focuses on whiskeys from the fair Irish isle.
Owner Julie Eisenberg sent an email to her clients today telling them about the upcoming closure and offering some alternative locations as she looks for a new place to call home for the studio. UPDATE: Lighthouse Yoga found a new home at Teatro de la Luna (4020 Georgia Ave NW). They’re seeking a permanent space.

The DC Department of Transporation is installing a Capital Bikeshare station just north of Sherman Circle on Kansas Avenue, increasing the availability of the docked bikes for residents.
