Holley Simmons, Petworth's 'Petal Pusher,' doubles down on Upshur Street

It had been six days since the blockbuster opening of her flower shop, She Loves Me, and Holley Simmons was freaking out a little. The Upshur block felt sleepy that Friday under a coat of fresh snow, and Simmons had decided to let her employees stay home. Then, suddenly, the delivery and Valentines Day flower orders started pouring in.

The Lemon Collective is opening at 810 Upshur

The Lemon Collective, a creative art and workshop space co-owned by She Loves Me owner Holley Simmons, will be moving to 810 Upshur Street on February 15th. The Lemon Collective was started started three years ago in Park View as a space where people can take classes, make art, and let their creative juices flow.

The new flower and crafts shop at 808 Upshur St NW is set to open on Saturday, January 26th. She Loves Me, the brainchild of Holley Simmons, is also the home to her other company, the Lemon Collective. Together, these two businesses will offer something new to Petworth, and owner Simmons is excited to share it with the community.
