Going through community meetings, strong community support and strong community angst, the Takoma area thought they were about to get a dog park. After working closely with ANCs, DC agencies and DPR, the long-term effort was about to pay off. And then it was unexpectedly denied. Then a week later, maybe some hope for the future.
