Down in the Reeds free music festival returns to the Parks at Walter Reed on 10/8

The third annual Down in the Reeds music festival is back for a full day of free music and amazing events at the Parks at Walter Reed. Kicking off at 11am until 7pm on Saturday, October 8th, the music festival has a ton of great things happening for everyone.

The festival’s goal is to create an outdoor Fall gathering that brings together a mosaic of entertainment and activations reflective of DC’s cultural diversity and in celebration of the healing power of music. A one-day celebration, the festival seeks to highlight our common experiences through performances from some of DC’s most vibrant musicians as well as workshops, arts activations, community and family engagement and more.
