/Friends of the Soldiers Home is seeking volunteers to come hang out with veterans for Happy Hour on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 from 6-8 pm at the Scott Building at the Armed Forces Retirement Home. It's always a great time -- Veterans and Friends get together with music, food, drinks (some alcoholic*), bad/bawdy jokes*! Email Lori Lincoln to volunteer: volunteerfriendsofsoldiers@gmail.com

Join President Lincoln’s Cottage on September 19, from 10am to 2pm, for their free annual Homecoming celebration inspired by the Lincoln family’s time living on the grounds of the Soldiers’ Home, here in the Petworth neighborhood.
