The Petworth Community Market is back!

Starting this weekend, the market will be back every Saturday from 9am to 1pm until November 13th.

Come find fresh produce, meats, breads, artisan crafts and much more on 9th Street between Upshur and Taylor Streets NW. It will operate in the same layout as last year with lots of returning favorite vendors, along with a few new ones.

The market is operating under CDC guidelines for large gatherings, so to attend the market you must wear a mask. Dogs are welcome!

Petworth’s Farmers’ Market was established in 2010 by a dedicated team of neighbors and has been sustained through the continued volunteer and financial support of the neighborhood. They are an all volunteer board of neighbors and remain a non-profit. This sets them apart from other markets because it gives them the flexibility to focus on the community's needs, maintain the lowest vendor fees in DC and allows our vendors to take home 100% of their profits.

The Market is in constant need of neighbors to dedicate a few hours each Saturday to keep the market running. In recent years, they have had a fall-off of volunteers and need our help to assist with opening and closing procedures and with administering the WIC and SNAP matching programs.
