Upshur Street Books got its most prominent customers today around 1pm when President Obama and his two daughters stopped by the local bookstore to shop for books on Small Business Saturday.

According to Paul Ruppert, owner of Upshur Street Books, "Two customers were browsing at noon today and one looked at her watch and then approached Anna  (the manager) and said, 'The President will be here in 20 minutes. Can I help you do anything to prepare?'"

Congrats to Anna, Ruppert and Upshur Street Books for representing Petworth so well!

Clearly, Petworth rocks.
