Really excited to announce that Petworth News contributing writer and Community Calendar editor Rachel Maisler just launched "Behind the Handlebars," a new column about all things bicycling in DC on the Greater Greater Washington blog.

The "Behind the Handlebars" column is a play on Rachel's popular Instagram account @HandlebarsDC, and features stories of people utilizing DC's expanding cycling infrastructure, why cycling is important, and what we can do to improve the two-wheel experience.

Rachel's first installment features Ward 4 Councilmember Brandon Todd who rode a bike with Rachel for "Bike to Work Day."

Rachel will still be contributing to Petworth News and managing the calendar (thankfully!).
