Lots of sirens & EMS at 500 Webster Street NW

EMS responded to a house off of Grant Circle along the 500 block of Webster Street NW.

One witness described it as a “huge response of emergency vehicles,” saying that he saw EMS help one person out of a home while others tried to reach their neighbors. Nobody appeared to answer at the neighbors, and FD did not break down the door.

No smoke or indications of a fire were seen, but firefighters were fully suited up with their breathing gear, while two Hazmat rigs also responded.

The emergency vehicles left about an hour later. ”Everyone was pretty much hanging out on their porch in full gear.”

Gas leak that was resolved, maybe?
