Homestead marks their 2 year anniversary with a free party on Sunday, June 24th

Homestead restaurant is turning 2 years old.

Homestead restaurant is turning two this weekend, and they're throwing a party to celebrate -- and you're invited! With a theme of "For locals, by locals," they want Petworth area residents to come enjoy new drinks (with a two-for-one offer), boozy snow cones and tasty bites from their new catering menu on Sunday, June 24 from 2pm-6pm.

During the party they'll be debuting their new Rosé Sundays, a tasting bar where you can sample a rotating menu of up to six rosé wines from around the world every Sunday at the garden bar, as well showing off their rotating menu of alcoholic snow cone and various flavors available on a weekly basis.

And if you get there early enough, you can get a chance to take home a Petworth-themed tote bag to show your local pride.

Like all good parties, this one is free, they just ask that you RSVP on EventBrite >

“We’re so grateful and excited to be celebrating two years in Petworth," said owner, Nic Makris. "Opening Homestead was a step in a new direction for me given my previous history running bars and as the managing partner at The Blaguard, a sports bar with great bar food. The Petworth community and every guest we’ve had in the last couple years have shown us so much support and love and we couldn’t be more thrilled to mark this occasion with them."

Homestead says they see a bright future in Petworth, and will be doing a revamp of the three-storied row house and more in the coming months.
