October's First Friday arts event starts at 6pm on Upshur Street

Petworth Arts Collaborative's First Fridays is Friday, October 6th starting at 6pm!

This First Friday we are celebrating National Book Month and National Latino/Hispanic Heritage Month. A huge shoutout to Petworth neighbor Kemba Maish for curating and bringing together DC latino artists to showcase this month.

We have an exciting collaboration with DC organization, Teaching For Change, bringing you a fun Scavenger Hunt focused on Latino Historical Figures. Meet a Petworth Arts volunteer in front of Petworth Citizen at 6:50pm, where they will give you instructions and than the fun begins at 7pm until the first 3 people successfully complete their mission.
