Taqueria Del Barrio is hosting some really delicious sounding "family meal" themed dinners featuring spins on American classics, football gameday specials and more. Over the next four weeks they will feature a different family style meal with a Mexican twist each Sunday!

Sunday, January 14 -- Family Meal Fried Chicken Night
Featuring classic Americana-inspired menus with a Mexican twist available at family-friendly pricing. Sunday the 14th is Mexican fried chicken night, when chef and owner Anna Bran-Leis will serve up her take on fried chicken with homemade guajillo hot sauce, chorizo mac and cheese, collards, jalapeño cornbread and banana pudding for dessert. Family Meal menus are available from 4pm to close on Sunday evenings, with guests able to reserve for the special menu on their website

Sunday, January 21 -- Family Meal Roast Beef Night
The Sunday Family Meal menu for the 21st features roast beef, garlic mashed potatoes, green beans, rolls and chocolate chess pie for dessert. 

SATURDAY, January 27 -- Their Popular Drag Brunch
Taqueria del Barrio hosts its popular monthly drag brunch on January 27th at noon with resident queen Desiree Dik and amazing performances by Kristina Kelly, Bombalicious Eklaver, and Sylvanna Duvel. Guests can order from a fixed $25 menu including the choice of either a brunch entrée or three of Taqueria del Barrio’s signature tacos, as well as a brunch cocktail. Sunday, January 28th -- Family Meal Jerk Chicken Night
On January 28, Family Meal at Taqueria del Barrio will spotlight Anna’s preparation of jerk chicken, red beans and rice, greens, pineapple chutney and warm coconut raisin bread pudding.

Taqueria del Barrio is helping you get pumped for football playoffs, tuning playoff games on the restaurant’s TVs and offering gameday bites alongside happy hour drinks at the bar during games. Dishes like Buffalo chicken dip, nachos and meatball sliders join the menu, paired perfectly with happy hour drinks like their signature Margarita del Barrio (mezcal, pineapple, and turmeric-habanero syrup) for $7, $5 classic margaritas and a seasonal rotating punch, $6 select wines, and $1 off all draft beers.
