Blocktoberfest returns to Petworth on October 13th! RSVP today!

Come out and enjoy the weather and some community gemütlichkeit over a good bier!

Join the Randolph Block Club Saturday October 13th from 2 pm to 8 pm (rain or shine) for their third Annual Blocktoberfest on the 500-600 block of Randolph Street NW.  Enjoy a nice fall Saturday savoring delicious kielbasas while sampling German and local microbrews.  Don’t forget to put on your Lederhosen and Dirndl to celebrate the traditional Bavarian festival.

Admission is free and for all age groups; adult beverages for adults and games and activities for kids. Just be sure to RSVP!

DC Fire will have a fire truck for the kids and DPR will be providing a bouncy house, giant chess, and a climbing wall for all to enjoy.

Starting at pm, a band will provide live music for the crowd to groove to some classics. The block club is raising money for a local charity, Changing Perceptions, so donations will be collected.

Blocktoberfest was started as a backyard Oktoberfest by a block resident for friends and neighbors who love a good German Brew. Over years the crowd started getting larger and the backyard smaller.

Please RSVP on the Eventbrite page so the Block club can provide enough food and beverages for the evening.
