The CDC approved the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 mRNA vaccine for children ages 5-11 on Tuesday, November 2nd. Last week, before even the FDA and CDC had recommended the vaccine for children 5-11, Mayor Muriel Bowser announced vaccine sites across the city at local schools.

Known as “Fish in the Hood,” the restaurant is one of the best places in DC to get fresh seafood. The popular restaurant has gone through ups and downs, a fire, issues with his landlord and still has stayed open to serve the community.
Bill is in the hospital with a lung infection and collapsed lung, and doesn’t have insurance. His step-mother has organized a GoFundMe to help cover costs.
