A maintenance worker is currently stuck on the towers up by the Fourth District police station.

Reportedly, the worker went up the tower at 10am this morning to do maintenance. Around 1:30 this afternoon he made a distress call, saying he was suffering from hypothermia.

The Department of Public Works, which is responsible for street cleaning (and parking tickets!), has released an app for iOS and Android that will send out notifications when it’s time to move your car. Their press release is below… you can find the app on the Apple App Store and Google Play.

Street sweeping starts March 4th… they usually give people a pass on tickets the first week, but after that you’ll find a pink slip on your window (or in the mail) once the sweepers start their work.
