It’s all about the neighborhood
Starting with the Powell Spring Carnival and moving to the Petworth Farmers Market, it was a busy day in Petworth, one where the weather seemed to hold out just long enough to enjoy it. Here are photos from both events.

Summer isn’t over yet! The Parks at Walter Reed has a full lineup of family-friendly neighborhood events coming up from August and into November, including free concerts, outdoor fitness classes, dancing, flea markets, community festivals and a massive used book sale.
