Members of the Narcotics and Special Investigations Division executed a search warrant this afternoon around 4:30pm at 805 Rock Creek Church Road NW (located next to a daycare center).

According to MPD, the search warrant was a result of multiple community stakeholder (neighbor) complaints received and acted upon by police officers assigned to PSA 407, along with an ongoing investigation by the Narcotics and Special Investigations Division’s at the request of Lt. Anthony Washington, the PSA manager.

NSID seized large quantities of controlled substances (e.g., marijuana, heroin, cocaine) as well as a loaded firearm. Three adult males were arrested.

Lt. Washington said he will be working closely with the Office of the Attorney General to further abate what is now officially considered, in OAG parlance, a "nuisance property."
