DC and Petworth mystery writer George Pelecanos to give a reading at the Petworth Library

Join the Library and Petworth Library Friends for an evening with celebrated DC author George Pelecanos who will discuss and read from his newest book The Man Who Came Uptown.  The event is Wednesday, September 19 at 7pm – 8:30pm at the Petworth Library. You must register for the event.

Set in the Petworth neighborhood and the library in the DC jail, the book tells the story of Michael Hudson and the tough choices he makes after leaving jail. 

Copies of the book will be for sale to be signed by Mr. Pelecanos. Participants are invited to join the author across the street at Petworth Citizen for a casual social gathering hosted by the Petworth Library Friends.
