Just came back from the sing-along at Upshur Street Books. The store puts these on every two weeks (on Thursdays and Sundays at 11am). There was a nice crowd of neighbors and lots of kids. Singer John Ray has a nice melodic voice and engages the children with books, songs and eye contact with each of the kids (and parents). John has been singing for young audiences for years, and does children's music activities around the city. John is an interfaith minister and does weddings and other needs.
