Today, after significant pleading from a long standing community resident, three ANC commissioners released the draft resolution. While I am grateful that the ANC Commissioners finally heeded the advice of community members to be more transparent, the proposal continues to fall short and does not sincerely address the concerns of those most impacted by the DDOT proposal.
The Advisory Neighborhood Commission (ANC) 4C, together with Petworth residents, city leaders and our greater community, are working hard to make Petworth safer and more accessible for all modes of transportation. Commissioners Livingston, Kademian and Heller offer an overview of the upcoming resolution in support of DDOT’s proposed Grant Circle safety work.

Virk moved into the Upshur Street property, installed floodlights in the alley and got to work on his newest business venture. He had previously operated a Sbarros Pizza and Subway sandwich shop franchise, as well as multiple pizza parlors in Ohio, and knew a thing or two about what to do (and not to do) when it came to pizza and sandwiches.
