It’s all about the neighborhood
While the bakery isn’t open yet, it’s slated to open doors later this Spring/early Summer. Owner Nieshia Williams plans to open each morning at 5:00am selling hot coffee, fresh scones and muffins. She chose Kennedy Street because she believes “every neighborhood should have the opportunity to have fresh food using superior ingredients.”

Petworth News reached out to DCPS who confirmed that work on the entrance is scheduled to be completed by the end of May.
However, according to a spokesperson for the Department of Parks of Recreation, they currently have no plans to open to the public.
