5th Annual Kennedy Street Festival looking for performers, vendors, volunteers

Vendors at the 2017 Kennedy Street Festival

The 5th Annual Kennedy Street Festival will take place this year on Saturday, June 9th from 11am – 3pm, and this year’s theme will be Catch, Taste and See the Rainbow of Kennedy Street NW. They're looking for entertainers to perform, vendors to sell or share information, and volunteers to help make it all amazing (again!).

The festival looks to build on its successful 2017 festival, which saw attendance double from the previous year. The event, organized by the all-volunteer Kennedy Street Development Corporation (KSDC), looks to build upon the diverse Kennedy Street NW community this June, celebrating the businesses, friends and neighbors that make it one of the best communities in the District.

The festival is looking for performers!

KSDC is asking for anyone interested in performing (especially entertainment for kids) to contact them via email to snag a spot at the festival.

Vendor tables are available for the festival – if you’re interested, reserve your space soon as there was a waitlist in 2017! Vendors can register via a simple online form

KSDC is also looking for volunteers! It's easy and doesn't ask too much -- if you have an hour or two on the 9th and want to pitch in, sign up today to volunteer!

And if you want to sponsor the festival, there's some great opportunities, from Platinum to Silver level! You can sign up to be a sponsor via this online form.

Learn more about the festival and KSDC by visiting their Facebook page and checking out the KSDC website for information and updates.

And of course, Petworth News will keep you updated on the festival!
