Roosevelt HS hosts "A Taste of Petworth" fundraiser celebrating CTE program excellence

Roosevelt High School's Global Studies Campus is gearing up for an exciting fundraising event, "A Taste of Petworth," aimed at supporting the esteemed Career Technical Education (CTE) program on Friday, May 17th from 7-9pm.

Roosevelt’s CTE program offers a dynamic array of pathways, including Culinary Arts, Business Management, Global Service and Diplomacy, and JROTC. Rooted in academic knowledge, these pathways provide students with authentic professional experiences, preparing them for success in the global marketplace.

Assistant Principal Darryl Powell expressed the school's vision for the CTE program, "At Roosevelt High School, our vision for the CTE program extends beyond traditional boundaries. We are committed to nurturing globally competent learners who possess essential skills such as critical thinking, collaboration, and effective communication."
