DC Music Rocks Festival returns to the 9:30 Club on Aug 17th!

What started as a test of the local indie music scene is now in its third successful year. The DC Music Rocks Festival is returning to the 9:30 Club on Saturday, August 17th with five local DC bands, and six singer-songwriters and the Musicianship Drumline. It’s an awesome event of music!

Doors open at 7pm at 815 V Street NW.

The MusicianShip is a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit organization that facilitates music lessons, experiences and opportunities. While our mission is not exclusive to any one particular group, we are focused on at-risk youth as they benefit most from positive outreach and music scholarship preparation. We are an official After-School service provider, allowing us to deliver free music instruction to students who may not otherwise have such opportunities.
