“Baby” is a White Goffin Cockatoo that went missing on Sunday, June 16th from near Buchanan Street and Georgia Avenue NW. Baby is white with peach coloring under her feathers and beak, and yellow coloring around. She also a great dancer.

The first Petworth Jazz Project of the 2019 was, in my opinion, one of the best so far. Baba Ras D led off the night with music for the kids, and boy oh boy do the little people love Baba. Opened in 2017, Art of Noize is a multipurpose artist and performance space that showcases artwork and creativity. They had the lease on Georgia Ave terminated when the building owner sold the building with little notice. Owner Adrian Ferguson knew he wanted to stay in Petworth and began to look for a new location.
